Tiarra Murphy

Project Officer

Tiarra Tishera Murphy joined The Center as the evaluation coordinator and is currently a project officer. She leads the train-the-trainer procedure for The Center’s Pathways to Health Justice process, aimed at empowering regional grantees in the South and Midwest to reduce tobacco inequities. Tiarra has a Master’s in Public Health with a concentration in behavioral, social, and health education. She also earned her Bachelor’s in Humanistic Psychology from the University of West Georgia, where she double minored in Anthropology and Gender and Sexuality Studies.

Passionate about incorporating culturally centered mindfulness interventions, Tiarra is dedicated to improving health outcomes for people of color. Originally from New Jersey, she now resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Tiarra enjoys connecting with her roots in nature, exploring cultural events, spending quality time with friends and family, and continuously learning new things.
